The Maine Kids-Kin fund provides immediate assistance of small amounts of money to grandfamilies who need money to provide stability for their families.  Each situation must meet specific criteria.  Maine Kids-Kin staff work with each family to help ensure they are able to access all the financial assistance available to them.

The fund has helped with a variety of needs including:

• Put cars back on the road
• Kept the electricity on
• Paid for a babysitter when the grandparent is sick
• Bought funishings for a new child

Without these funds, the Grandfamilies we serve are at risk.  This immediate assistance is often just enough to provide what the family needs to get through a critical situation.

This fund relies entirely on private donations from individuals, businesses, and community organizations.  We often receive more requests than we are able to support.  Please make a donation if you feel you are able to support this worthwhile cause.  Simply print and complete our donation form, then mail it back to us with your donation.
