Wednesday, March 1 at 6:30 p.m. - Lewiston Group meeting at the D'Youville Pavilion, across from the hospital. Enter in the doors under the awning and go to the conference room.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND CHILDREN: HOW RELATIVES AS PARENTS CAN HELP Saturday, March 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This training will be presented by Barbara Kates and Sue Burgess. It will be held at the Buker Recreational Center at 21 Armory Street in Augusta. Call Noreen at 1-866-298-0896 to register, request childcare and to get directions. (Snow date is march 18)

****SPECIAL UPCOMING EVENT**** Mardi Gras Celebration on Friday evening, March 24 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Jeff's catering in Brewer! Bring the kids, where a costume and partake in fun family activities!! There will be more information as the date gets closer.

 

Family Connections has a recently upgraded computer donated by a Grampy in southern Maine. The computer and modem would be useful for basic word processing and has the following features: 266 pentium, 97 megabytes ram and 6 gigabytes of HD. This would not have the ability to run sophisticated kids games. Contact Nancy at 591-6278 for more information.
